These are our first electric bikes (some may call these scooters). We didnt expect much for what we paid but we were pleasantly surprised. While these may not go very fast uphill, it was able to slowly take a 200lb adult up without issue and without stopping. Once it gets going to does pick up speed uphill. Now on flat ground this thing is very speedy. We've clocked about 15mph before and my spouse clocked 17mph. The charge on this thing lasts a very, very long time. I think the battery has a 12mile capacity and we are definitely getting that if not slightly more. This thing is SO cool. My husband bought it for me to ride across our park to the clubhouse to exercise. I had a stroke 4 years ago so it's too far to walk, but too short to drive. So this is perfect.
About a week after I got this bike, I had another stupid stroke. So my husband will get to ride it around until I'm ready to again.
THIS BIKE GIVES ME INCENTIVE TO WALK AGAIN AFTER 2 STROKES. It's THAT fun.
