Assembly was a breeze – apart from the front wheel calibration, which took a little patience (and maybe a small curse word or two, but who’s counting? 🤣). After that, it was smooth sailing.
The lights? Oh, they’re not just lights, they’re basically mini-suns that make sure you won’t miss a pothole or streetcat at night. 🌕✨ Installing them was so easy, I could’ve done it with one hand tied behind my back. The rest? Pedals, handlebars — no sweat.
Riding it? It’s like a mini rollercoaster with zero stress. The pedal assist levels are perfect – you can go as slow or fast as you want, and the throttle makes it feel like you’re cheating gravity. 😎💨 It’s a bit on the heavier side, but hey, it makes you feel like you’re really getting your workout in.
Now, the only “con” I found was the mechanical brakes (let’s face it, we all secretly wish for hydraulics 😅). But guess what? Engwe customer service swooped in like a hero 🦸♂️, sending me an upgrade kit and a tutorial in less than a week. Big shoutout to them for making my bike stop like it’s supposed to!
Battery life? Let’s just say I’ve ridden 40 km on one charge without breaking a sweat. I alternate between the two batteries – it’s like the bike never needs a nap.
All in all, Engwe M20 = epic. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of e-bikes — quick, reliable, and totally ready to take you places. I’m sold, and I think you will be too.
Just got my Engwe M20 and I’m obsessed! Assembly was easy. The bike is solid, fast, and the lights are ridiculously bright. Pedal assist makes riding effortless, no problem!
